Target Audience
This activity is primarily designed to meet the needs of primary care physicians, specialty care physicians, and allied professional staff.
Webinar Description
While use of medications and behavioral therapy are hallmarks of addiction treatment, more services are needed to facilitate lasting recovery. Recovery-oriented systems of care (ROSC) are a shift away from crisis-oriented, deficit-focused, and professionally-directed models of care to a vision of care that is designed in collaboration with people in recovery, emphasizes the hope and reality of long-term recovery, and recognizes the many pathways to healing for people with mental and substance use disorders . This webinar will explore the ROSC model and discuss how prescribers, peers and other allied professionals can work together to implement ROSC models to facilitate long-term recovery and wellness
