Webinar Description:This activity focuses on buprenorphine for the treatment of chronic pain by reviewing different formulations and the evidence-base supporting its use for chronic pain with and without Opioid Use Disorder. Participants learn how to apply the evidence of buprenorphine’s effectiveness to different patient scenarios. 

Educational Objectives:

• Compare different buprenorphine formulations and their indications ​
• Examine the evidence on buprenorphine for chronic pain with and without Opioid Use Disorder​
• Apply the evidence to patient scenarios including decision-making of buprenorphine dosage and titration​
• Review perioperative management of buprenorphine and its use with full opioid agonists
