Target audience: Physicians, Physician Associates, Nurse and Nurse Practitioners

Credit designations available: AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, AAPA Category 1 CME Credit, Nursing Contact Hour(s) 

Educational objectives:  At the conclusion of this activity participants should be able to:

  • Describe the benefits, regulatory overview, and outcomes of high dose and split-dosing
  • Understand utility of clinical protocols and supportive pharmacotherapy for withdrawal management and stabilization with methadone
  • Review EKG, QTc monitoring and laboratory testing
  • Describe the considerations for health professionals and staff that must be factored into providing MOUD with high dosing methadone
