PCSS-MOUD Clinical Roundtable: Patient-centered Care
Activity Description
Join this PCSS-MOUD Clinical Roundtable, comprised of a short slide presentation followed by a Q&A with the presenter. This webinar will discuss patient-centered care, what is it and how to practice it in the context of treating substance use disorders. The discussion is structured to encourage interactivity through an informal roundtable conversation. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with the presenter, ask questions, and discuss relevant issues. 

Target audience: Physicians, Physician Associates, Nurse and Nurse Practitioners

Credit designations available: AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, AAPA Category 1 CME Credit, Nursing Contact Hour(s) 

Educational objectives:  At the conclusion of this activity participants should be able to:

  • Identify two elements of patient-centered care
  • Discuss how to explain patient-centered care to a mentee, patient, and patients’ family
  • Demonstrate how to apply a patient-centered care approach to patient who has returned to use and is ambivalent about abstinence
