In this session, we will look at the harm reduction approach through the lens of prevention professionals. Harm reduction is a philosophy and set of strategies that seeks to minimize harm associated with high-risk behaviors while supporting positive, incremental behavior change. Content will include an overview of why it works, best practices for using it, and how it can be effectively paired with prevention efforts to minimize the impact of addiction for both individuals and communities.
