Description: This training will discuss borderline personality disorder and medications that may influence substance use treatment, and how to work with clients in recovery housing when these needs arise.

Learning objectives:

  1. Review the diagnosis of borderline personality disorder
  2. Describe symptom presentation and approaches to compassionate counseling
  3. Review medication basics and side effects
