Course Overview
Presenter:
Cody Chipp is a licensed psychologist and organizational consultant. Dr. Chipp has provided clinical services, research analytics, and organizational leadership to enhance behavioral health services throughout Alaska for 20 years. Dr. Chipp provides comprehensive clinical services, research analytics, and organizational leadership to enhance behavioral health services throughout Alaska. Prior to starting his independent practice in 2022, he was the Director of Behavioral Health at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) for nearly 5 years. In this role, he directed initiatives to promote statewide behavioral health service capacity and enhancements across the Alaska Tribal Health System, including the launch of the Behavioral Health Wellness Clinic.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to describe the Stages of Behavior Change Model.
Participants will be able to describe the spirit of Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Participants will be able to describe at least one-skill to support behavior change.
